The provision of an electric fence certificate may be waived by agreement between the seller and the buyer. Only if changes were made to the electric fence installation since the initial certificate was granted is a new one required. A property with a sectional title will also be covered by it. Although these certificates have not yet been enacted into law and are not yet required, we observe that more buyers request them.
